I have no pictures to post because we've been rather tied up at the hospital again. Briggs had to be admitted into the hospital for a few days. Man, he's had a rough winter. I have to say that I am getting pretty tired of hospital beds and hospital food. I took him into the ER and he had a fever of 105. His white blood cell count was so high and they had to hurry and start him on IV's. He hates those things. I still can't sit in the room and watch them try to get them into his little arm. Last time it took them 2 hours but this time it only took about 20 minutes. It makes a mom cry to hear their baby screaming forever. They also found a little pnemonia as well. It took a few days to get his blood count normal. I hope that we are done with the hospitals now! It's good to be back home and I hope that it stays that way for a while.
Other than that, nothing much has been going on at our house. My mom and dad took the other kids for a few days. I have to admit, it was kind of nice. It's hard not having any family that lives in the same town as you. I sometimes wish that we lived closer to our families. I'm grateful that they are always so willing to help even though Jon's family and my family both live away from us. The kids love both Grandma's homes. I sometimes think that they would rather be with their grandparents than their parents. That's a good thing though, right. I remember being that same way and I thinkt that I lived at my Grandma's house.
Anyway, I'll post pictures soon.

The BIG "3"
Our Brooke turned three and I can't believe it. It seems just like yesterday that she came into this world. She brings such JOY to our house and it seems like there is never a dull moment with her around.
This is how her life started out. I don't think that I'll ever forget that moment that they took her away and life-flighted her to Provo. I think that is the worst feeling ever to have your baby taken away and you don't know if they are going to be o.k. or not. I cried and cried and this is what we found when we got to the NICU. She was on life support for a while and gave us quite a scare.
It didn't take her long to bounce back from being early. She was a very good baby. I loved all of her black hair and she had the biggest, bluest eyes.

This is one of my favorite pictures because it shows those big, baby blues.
I attempted to decorate her birthday cake. All she wanted was pink so we found some cute butterflies to put on it too. It took me forever but we did it. I'm no pro like my cousins but hey, it's worth a shot, right. All that she wanted for her birthday was pink. We couldn't get anything else out of her until the day before her birthday.
Say Cheese!
She then told us that she wanted a real pink horse. (Sorry to say we couldn't pull that one off.) She ended up getting a lot of clothes from her gandparents, lightbright, a horse puzzle, a pink hat, and some new shoes. She loved everything! She is very easy to please, thank goodness! We love our Brooke and we are so grateful that she is a part of our family!!

Call Me Crazy
O.K. Call me crazy or whatever but I'm still having a heck of a time figuring this whole blogging thing out. I've had a few people tell me that they can't comment on my blog and I'm sorry! I didn't even know that I could control who could leave comments and who couldn't. I'll figure this whole thing out someday, maybe. Our house has been a little boring lately with not a whole lot happening. (You'll see that from the pictures) Although Briggs has finally learned how to walk. He just turned 15 months today and just started walking a few days ago. I can't believe that it's been that long ago since he was just 6 pounds and now we are almost hitting 30 pounds. He has changed so much, including hair color.

So I came home from Young Womens the other night and this is what I found. The girls decided to play beauty shop on their dad. You can probably see that Jon was not loving life. (especially when I broke out the camera) They were so proud of their work. You gotta love being a dad with girls running the house, right.

Hospital

Briggs has spent the last few days in the hospital with pneumonia. I got a call from Daycare that he wasn't doing very well. By the time that I got him to the hospital his oxygen levels were very low so they made us stay there. He was there for four days and I thought that we were going to go crazy. He was so ready to get out of that room that he finally started to walk. When they let him go on his walk they made him wear a mask. He thought that he was pretty cool stuff. The ladies at the hospital called him the Lone Ranger.
